Hi Guys,

I've got some apps on my iPhone which I bought as it said they were fullly compatible with iPad.

I've just loaded them on and they are running at iPhone small screen size, despite them supposed to be able to run full screen.

Is it because I loaded them on my iPhone first or what?

My friends have the same apps and they run fine on their iPads

when they say fully compatible, they mean that it will work on both iPad and iPhone

when you run an iPhone app on iPad, in the top right corner, you will see 2x, this essentially doubles the app resolution to fill the screen

A lot of ad apps have the letters 'HD' after them in the app store these days, that means they're specifically optimised for iPad resolution. But you usually have to pay another premium on top for them.

As mentioned, all iPhone apps are fully iPad compatible, but not iPad screen size optimised.

If your iPhone and iPad share the same iTunes account, then you can simply delete them from your iPad and re-download them from the App Store directly to your iPad via WiFi - i.e. don't go via your PC. You will not be charged again - it's only at the last minute in the process that iTunes 'remembers' you've already paid for this app. Might be the easiest way to see if the re-downloaded version works OK.
