Help with SSH

I'm trying to get issh to work, I've got my IP, login etc but what is the port number?

When using ssh do I choose shell, vnc or rdp?

Also what is the rdp host and port and domain?

I'm have quite advanced IT skills but not really into networking, would appriciate any help!
