hello, can someone tell me who i can get to help me to connect to my computer so i can watch my computer from my ipad, i downloaded the splashtop streamer and i click on it, and then it tells me it failed to connect to my pc, because another device is running. i downloaded splashtop remote, splashtop remote client, and splashtop streamer, is there one of these that i didnt really need to download, please help, thank you

Hi there, all you need for Splashtop is splashtop streamer for your pc and the ipad app.
Your probably seeing connectivity issues because a firewall is blocking the outbound splashtop traffic, try disabling any firewalls you have on your pc (e.g. Norton, kaspersky, symantec etc) and try again.. If it works then whitelist the splashtop .exe files in the advanced firewall settings.

I have Norton and Splashtop works fine.

If you've previously connected before just give it a few seconds and try again if you are on your home network.
If it has never connected before make sure your ip address matches on both the iPad and desktop.
If you are not on your home network, make sure you are signed in with your Google address
Chime back in if none of those solutions help.
I get the occasional errors as well and just giving it about 10 seconds and trying again usually solves it
