What's new

Hi All! Newby looking for some basic info...

WookieiPad

iPF Noob
Hi, bit about me....definitely not a developer...a tester tes but not a developer...
Love both the Android and iPad Tablets. Both are amazing pieces of technology!

Hoping someone can help with this topic though. I just downloaded the SDK and created a blank iPad App. Looking to create a slider that will control the iPad master volume and lock it. Similar to the iPod Volume lock but for the iPad. Friends child keeps playing the iPad at full volume so we wanted to limit the volume they can use.

Any ideas? Something simple for a non developer!!!

Thanks for your help in advance.

In case you did not know.

If you look in Settings > Music there is a pascode protected volume lock, but it only affects Music.

Thanks, have spoken to a few people and they don't think it is possible but they are not entirely sure...lots to investigate!
