Have a new iPad, and have quickly found uses I wouldn't have foreseen - like using a surveillance app to observe pesky bandicoots digging up my back lawn at night, or using the camera to snap a page of music to send to someone, instead of having to scan, etc. Also playing online scrabble with my son, a couple of thousand miles away. Also really good fun; though I find the filing system a bit frustrating. For instance I'd sometimes like to open a PDF file from the iBooks library in good reader to do some annotations, but can't seem to do this directly. Also, oddly, it appears that the photo res is lower than the actual screen res, so occasionally I use the trick of doing a screen capture of a picture rather than hitting the photo button! But overall the iPad works well.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
