I work for the largest media company in South Africa and I'm helping them pilot their first iPad project.

I work in mobile mostly, but good to expand my knowledge base and look at something new.

going to Richards Bay and to game reserve - ?

Hi I'm going to South Africa and would like to have coverage with 3G. Do I need to buy the domestic USA plan to have the ipad serve as a phone? Or do I need to get a local sim card?
