Welcome,
I was just reading about Australia on my iPad! Lol
I was trying to get an idea about Americans that move there. Etc.
I look forward to seeing you here on the site as we learn more about our iPad.

Hi and welcome to the Forum. So what did you find out about Australia? I've met some Americans who have moved here and they love it. You'll never ever know if you don't ever ever go. Enjoy!!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

I think I am interested in moving there for a year or two.
I'm a nurse and paramedic so is my husband.
I have been feeling restless in regards to my life lately.
With Steve Jobs passing and reading the transcript of his speech he said find your passion and do it!
I have always wanted to live outside of the States and always been interested in health and helping people.
I think it would also answer my desire for adventure and meet people from somewhere else. To help make a difference. You
know? Ay way I don't want to run you away by boring you to death. Lol

That's really a big move for you, I'm impressed and intrigued. I had a neighbor, he passed on a couple of years ago but he made Australia his home, and never looked back. His wife has just returned from a trip to the US with their son to see his family.
I know very little about our immigration policies here but being in the Health industry is a big plus for you as far as employment goes.
What a life changing adventure this would be for you and your husband. I wish you all the best in this endeavor. If there's anything you'd like to know, just ask.
