What's new

Hi guys, another new here!

Jarson

iPF Noob
Hello, as tommorow (hopefully) I'm buying brand new iPad 2, i shall register here and join this brilliand community. My name is Konrad, im 21, I come from Poland but keep studying in Glasgow indeed. I pretend to be a game designer and this is what I study here. My iPhone more than many times had helped me with finding myself in such a huge city as Glasgow surely is. It's a piece of great technology, so I've considered to buy an iPad to hopefully help me with my study and keep me entertained while in a bus or travelling by plane to my home country.

I really hope I enjoy this place. I got a question at the start to begin a nice conversation. :-) how did you get you iPad and why did you decided to purchase one?

Looking forward to hear from you guys!

Hi Konrad - welcome to the forum! :)

I've been to Scotland but we skipped Glasgow (so much to visit & see in the little time we had!) - hope that you enjoy your iPad - there are plenty of great folks here to help you and also LOTS of information already available - try the excellent search functions!

I'm a longtime PC guy who also owns an iPod (mainly for my MP3 music) - son talked me into buying an iPad and thought that it would be nice as an iReader; WELL, since my purchase in April, I've found innumerable other uses, and have myself learned a lot from this forum and hopefully have contributed in a small way - good luck w/ your new device - I'm sure that you will be pleased!

Hi Jarson, welcome to the club! Yer gonna love it!

I bought mine mainly for the portability and ease of transport compared to those clunky, heavy laptops. And, I must admit, the gaming perspective appealed to me as well. There are just so many great apps and games to play. It's mind boggling.

See ya around. :)
