Hi I am a new member

I am the proud owner of a new iPad 2 with gps.
I need to buy a sim etc and need some advice please.
I will be an occasional user out of wifi areas but would like to use the maps and sat nav in the car.What mb does the sat nav use as I am not sure what MB size to get.
