Hi I'm a Newcomer!

My name is Alesandra and I live in England. I have had my ipad mini since December 2012 and I loved it!!! Notice that it is in the past tense. Today I updated to IOS7, what a massive mistake that was. :thumbsdown: It looks cheap and tacky, is awkward to use and worst of all I lost my 'Notes'. I am devastated. Hoping to get some help from some clever people!

Hi Alesandra and welcome to the Forum!

Did you do a backup of your ipad before the upgrade? Or do you have your Notes turned on in iCloud or set up with an email account?

First of all do a reset of your iPad......lots of problems like this can be solved by just doing this step after an update to your iPad.
Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you may see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start.
