I mainly joined this group because I just realized that after updating my iPad with the latest update all of my notes are gone. I would like to find out how to retrieve them. Can anyone help me with that? Thanks in advance.

Hi Joyce - welcome to the forum!

Sorry about your problem w/ the Notes app - seems to be an occasional issue - my first question would be whether you have a recent sync/backup either wired to a computer or wireless (computer or in the cloud)? If not, please look at This Discussion - not saying that will work, but I've seen this comment before; also, if not already done, you may want to 'Reset' your iPad - good luck & please let us know your progress.

Well I've tried everything that I have been told to do but can't find my previous notes. There were some pretty important things in those notes that are lost that I would really like to get back. I have set up my iPad to back up to the iCloud, which it was before and I've backed up to iTunes now but that doesn't get back the notes lost. They were lost in the newest update. It seems like they should be retrievable somehow. So if anyone knows how to do it I will be forever grateful. Thanks so much for your help. Joyce
