Hi there. Help a new ipad owner out.

So i've been going back and fourth over the last couple of months whether or not to get an ipad.

Lucky for me i was browsing some spiff points i had at work and bam. ipad.

So long story short i have a 16gig ipad coming my way next week.

I am going to be using it for email, web browsing, and little bit of work.

Can anyone recommend me some good apps as this will be my first experience with an apple product and i'm pretty green to all of this.

Anything special i am going to need to know with this device as well?

Hmm browsers, iCab and Atomic.
RSS readers Reeder and River of News and also Blogshelf, FlipBook and Pulse. Use them all but find Pulse and Flipbook being passed over a lot.

Air Video for streaming movies from your computer, but I've recently switched to Zumocast as it allows you to browse pics and docs as well as movies.

Notetaking have a look at Penultimate, Evernote and NoteTaker HD.
Photographic apps, Filterstorm, Photogene and PhotoFX all are useful. As is adobe's Sketchbook app.

Goodreader is a great app for viewing docs and pdfs.

All of the above are worth looking at.
