Found this forum while searching on how to transfer photo files out of iPad 2 to a portable drive/card without going through a computer or iCloud.
Even though I did not yet find a way how it can be done, I believe I can learn many things on the usage of the iPad. I am trying to replace my usual laptop with the iPad on my business trips and travels.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
