Home button problems

I have had iPad five months. Now home button not working, any easy fixes

If the Home button isn't working, then that's a hardware problem and the fix most likely entails a trip to Apple. Sorry, but nothing software-related will fix hardware-related issues.

You could try re calibrating the home button to see if that helps. To do so open any stock IOS app (app store, messages, etc.) then hold the power button until the slide to power off indicator shows up, right after you see that push and hold the home button until the home screen re appears. If you get no response from that then there is something wrong with it.
