Does the iPad 2 have one? is this considered the on/off button?

The iPad 2 has the same buttons as the iPad 1.

The Home button is primarily used to switch between apps, Multitasking, or open new apps from the Home Screen.

The on/off, or power button is at the top-right corner and locks the screen.
