FINALLY got my precious iPad2!!! How do you people sleep???!
Anyway, here's my dilemma right off the bat. One of my roommates is an IT
Geek with PCs. He helps himself to my computer back door style at will. Is there a way
To turn off network discovery and remote desktop on my new baby?

You cant remote desktop an ipad. So no worries there. As far as network discovery, the ipad cant emit a signal, only receive one... So whats your worry?
