How do I delete items from homepage

If you want to delete apps from your homepage, touch and hold any icon until they all begin to shake. Touch the X in the upper left corner and you'll see a pop up asking if you're sure you want to delete. If you press delete, the app will be removed from your iPad, but will remain in your purchased list.
