Hi everyone, nice to be part of such a large family - albiet we all seem to have problems of one kind or another!

I am trying so hard to get my ipad to accept hotmail as my exchange account for e mail, it just ain't happy to comply at all. I have read various answers from the password being too long, but i don't want to change that, it's saved a lot of bother as when I used a short password, my hotmail account was hacked into twice!

Does anyone out there have any suggestions as how to resolve this?

i look forward to reading all the genius replies!

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

I saw your Hotmail problem, so I've moved this thread to the Help section, where I think it will receive better attention...

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Please read the rules too!!

I did it! I beat it at last....

Hi Tim,

At last after two whole days of trying everything on every forum, I simply found that after all I did have to change my password, the old one was just too long and complicated, although it was very secure! Ah well, there was always the worry that as I got older I'd have forgotten it anyway!

So, now the iPad is cooking with gas, both e mail accounts running, I am a happy bunny.
Thanks.

I had already loaded the free iPad manual, read it cover to cover like a sad old got, then read the other more full manual, looked at forums till the wee small hours, bored everyone I could think off, and still couldn't get round the problem. Being Scottish and very stubborn, I reckoned it just COULDN'T be something I was doing wrong, I stand humbled and corrected!
