Hi all.

Every now and then I am sent an email with an .WMV attachment, but sadly at the moment my iPad2 will not play them.
Any advice as to how I can get them to play.

Regards

You'll need an app installed that is capable of playing WMV files, first port of call is a search for WMV on the App Store......

Hi there.

Took your advice and downloaded Oplayer HD light (a freebie) and it works a treat. Thanks.

That is great to hear. I have OPlayer and various other video players just to make sure that I have. Every conceivable format covered.

Sorry for the hijack does that mean I don't need to convert everything to mp4 etc for movies etc??

That would make my life so easy lol:)

Correct, as long as you have an app that can play the format that your media is in then you should be good to go.

Hi there again.

I have dug around in iTune Apps section and found a few apps that claim they can play Flash content, but when I read the comments submitted by people who purchased these apps, the comments are sadly lacking. I was hoping someone reading this post could recommend one.

I think I will create a new post so as to cast a wider net, so to speak. :)

Regards
