How do upload a photo for this app

I'm guessing you mean the iPad Forum app.

First method:

The photo must be in the Photos app library.

When you are composing your message or reply you'll see an Attachment button at the top of the page. Tap that and you'll be able to choose a photo to upload. For some reason the app downsizes the photo when uploading, so this doesn't make for a lot of detail. Photos include by this method show up at the bottom of posts as attachments. See below: all the way at the bottom just above the signature. That's just a thumbnail. Tap on it to see the actual attachment.

Second Method:

The photo must be online and you must have a link to the file. Many online storage sites will let you copy a link to share photos.

In the body of the message you are typing paste the link. Then surround the link on each side with the IMG tag.

Example:

VVV this is not HTML
HTML:
[IMG]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17742163/Gypsy.jpg[/IMG]

Will do this.
Gypsy.jpg

Since the picture is not uploaded to the forum, it will disappear from the post if you delete it from the site where you linked it from.

Method three:

Do the same thing from a desktop computer and web browser. I admit to cheating and doing it this way. It is easier, and the attachment doesn't get downsized, usually, and you get buttons in the editor to make the tags for you.
