Just got my first Apple product and loving my iPad 2! How do you increase the font when searching the web withouthaving to zoom/stretch every page? I don't see an option in Safari.
Im fairly certain Safari doesn't have this feature, you could try another browser, Atomic does have the ability to increase font size

A double tap on text in Safari will smart zoom into that section. You can also pinch to zoom the page to any size you want. Often I find simply turning the iPad to landscape (sometimes after the smart zoom) is enough for me.
There is no way to increase the font size in web pages for Safari. It uses whatever is set by the site.
