How is the new video editing app?

My brothers and I play a lot of basketball and i want to make a mixtape just for fun--is the camera decent for shooting action at a distance? (30 or so feet) Also, is it accessible for those (like me) who have no experience in video editing?

I read that you also have the ability to splice in music from your itunes--if it's true that would be a nice addition.

Imovies is good for that. Reel director even better as it will see all ur movies. Imovies only likes to see movies made from iOS device. There is a workarounds for it though. The ipad2 vid recording should be good. It records 720p HD ;-)
