How to ascertain my I pad model

I have been given an ipad by my company to use. I could not find out if it is ipad 1 or 2 or 3. Nothing is mentioned on the case. Can someone tell me how to know the model?

To check your model number for cross reference, go to Settings > General > About

Basically if your model is A139x it's an iPad 2. A1430 it's an iPad 3. A1458 it's an iPad 4
