How to increase sound volume?

How can I increase the sound volume on my iPad other than using the usual
control?

Just activate multitasking and swipe to the left.
You Will find THE volume controle There.

Oops. Sorry. I don't have the iPad 2 so am not aware of how to activate multitasking.

Otto...Also have a low volume problem on this bran new IPAD-2. Pressed the home button twice but no multi-tasking came up.

Same "game" I had on the IPAD-1 with plenty of volume but nothing on this one and it's not on mute. There "is" volume but not on this app?? Thanks! Ken

Then 1. Make sure you have IOS 4.2 or higher.
2. You can go to settings-general-sounds an there you can find a volume switch.
3. You can always go to your local apple store or best buy and other electronics stores.
