How to know tethered or untethered

hi,i using ipad 2 wifi 4.3.3 and already jailbreak.
i just wonder how to know it tethered or untethered?

If you restart the ipad and you dont need to connected to the computer to boot then you are untethered.

However I assume you used Jailbreakme.com and that's untethered.
