Hi

I have an jb ipad2 with an 8 gb flash drive and a camera connection kit.
Can someone recommend me an app to play the avi and mkv files from my flash drive .
It's a jailbroken ipad with ifile and xbmc installed if that helps and the flash drive is recognized through CCK.

Thx in advance.

As far as I remember, no app will play the movie directly from a flash drive or SD card. The app will have to load the movie in itself in order to play it. So, you'll have to use iFile's "Open In..." function to play any video. I believe, however, that iFile has a video player function in it, so maybe you can just use that?

Oh, wait! Maybe you mean that you need something to view the movies in order to select something to play?! In that case, you'll want to buy iFile ($4, USD, at Cydia). it's an excellent file system app that will let you use that flash drive.

P.S. And, since you talk about a jail broken iPad, I've taken the liberty of moving your post over to the Hacking section. Thanks for your understanding.

RushPlayer (Cydia) plays directly from the flash drive and has multiformat support... Untill now it has played everything I've throwned at it... Although it crashes with subtitle files...
