How to Restore Game Saves?

Hello,

I'm trying to restore my game saves (Asphalt 6: Adrenaline) using iPhone Explorer but it doesn't seem to work. I've tried copying all the files from /var/mobile/Applications/XXXXXXXXX/Documents folder. It does restore my game progress but when I start resuming the game, it won't save my new progress. Everytime I close the game it just reverts back to the previous state where I last restored my save files.

I'm using a jailbroken iPad 2 with iOS 4.3.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have never heard of anyone doing this. So, why would you want to restore a game save?

Because I want to delete games that I don't often play to save space but I don't want to lose my progress.

Backup to iTunes.

DiskAid might help....

But I've deleted real racing2 HD and reinstalled a few times and each time the game picked up where I left off.

Diskaid would do the same as ifile or ssh.
