How to tell how many charges are on the battery

On my MacBook I can see how many charges I have had on the battery.

Is it possible on the iPad to see this?

Haven't heard of way to do this.
Shouldn't bother though as that way lies madness........

Those batteries should be good for several years and Apple does do a replacement service. At a cost I should add.
As always YMMV.
