How to upload pics and iles on gmail?

Hi guys,
I have ipad 1 and I have been trying to figure out how i can attach jpeg, doc and pdf files on gmail, is there anyway i can attach files?

Do you use the regular Mail app on your iPad. If yes, I would suggest using Google's official mail app instead. You can find it from the iTunes store here:

The link is not working, i do use the mail app and i also do have icab but when i go to gmail website there is no attachment option and neither on the mail app.

If you are talking about the gmail app, i did install it and it only has options to attach pics or videos, i want to attach doc and pdf files.
