The critically acclaimed game is set in 2981, when planets are ruled not by governments, but bought by corporations. In a universe where money is everything, groups of mercenaries and hired guns called Hunters travel through space, doing the corporations’ dirty work for money. Hunters earn experience as they complete contracts, gaining levels and access to more powerful weapons, equipment and talents. In the game you get to take on the role of the captain of an elite team of Hunters, being offered a variety of unique contracts every day. The game takes players through a variety of environments, ranging from space stations to dusty town ruins as they recover valuable artefacts, defend bases, or simply clear an area of an unwanted threat.[/FONT]
