Is there an app that I can get that will allow my customers to sign out for the merchandise they are picking up?

There are cheaper alternatives that do just what you're asking for. I see no apps but then I can't figure out how to search the app store for specifics like that. And certainly don't have the time to browse it. App shopper may help u locate what you're looking for.
