Hello
I have a question: I cant send pics to my ipad 3 using Itunes.
A message, which warns my ipad does not support the files, appears.

Does not ipad support jpg format?

Have you checked what format they are saved on your pc, how are they named?

How are you trying to send them?, are you trying to sync pictures through iTunes?

Give us a little more information and someone will be able to help. I'm sure.

Why not email them to yourself and than open it up in your mail app on your iPad? Or if you don't have your email account set up on our iPad, consider an app like Dropbox. Put the app on your computer and iPad and you can drop files from one device to actively sync to another.

but I believe that's very strange Itunes gives this kind of problems.
I have noticed that I cannot upload pics by dragging them on itunes (like I do with mp3s). The only way to have pics on my ipad is synchronizing a folder: but there is a drawback. If I change the folder, all previous pics on my ipad will be deleted leaving only the ones of the new folder.

I tried with Icloud too, but sometimes it requires long time.

I tried will all kind of pics (from my camera, taken from internet..) BUT NOTHING. iPAD gives me always the same warning message. I tried with jpeg and jpg format, but nothing.

Do you know if it normal that using itunes I have this problem?

Apple uses iTunes in a different way to manage pictures. The only way to do it is to manage them through the iPad tabs in iTunes and sync folders, as you have discovered. Per design, you cannot drag and drop pictures into your Photo app from iTunes. That is why you get the error messages - it just won't work.

However, if you want to drag and drop photos from your computer (by putting them in the Apps tab in iTunes), there are many third party apps that allow you to do this. Many people have had success with PhotoSync and Photo Manager (not an endorsement, just names I remember). Hopefully, more people will be along to recommend additional apps...

Yes, it is counter-intuitive and you'd expect to be able to drape and drop using the default app and iTunes. Howev, Apple has a mind of their own and their method is the one we have to live with ... or get another app. :) Sorry.
