I have an Ipad - don't really understand how to use it properly

I live in Fall River, have owned my IPad for about 9 months and don't really understand alot about it. I can no lomger get my e-mails. Dialog box appears saying The user name or password for "[email protected]@smtp.comcast.net: is incorrect I also cannot get Mail The mail serverr "mail.comcast.net" is not responding. Verify that you have entered ythe corre ct account info in Mail settings. I DIDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING WHAT HAPPENED.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

It's unusual that both settings in email for incoming and outgoing have gone loopy. It may be an idea to clear your settings for email and then reinput them. I'll give you a link to help you with this.

Bardsley: hope you've been able to resolve your difficulties. Hope, too, that you appreciate, you're not alone: everyone's a newbie at some time or another. I've not been on here very long, but have managed to ask a veritable encyclopaedia of daft questions, to all of which people from all walks of life, and from all over the world, have responded quickly and supportively. Fingers crossed, all's well well with you and your iPad.
