I have the camera connection kit & dont know how 2 transfer video from pc to ipad

I have tried putting a video on a sd card as well as a usb stick inserted into camera connection kit then inserted into ipad3 and nothing came up on screen and i looked in iphotos and nothing there either.Could you tell me if you know when I have a video file on my pc what I then do with my camera connection kit to be able to transfer it from my pc to my ipad , as it would be great as i want to take my ipad on holiday with me.

The CCK is not designed for this. You will have to add the videos by sideloading into your video app using iTunes on your PC.

Well it should work .

1. Rename your videos to 8 letter without spaces .Example: myvideo1.mov

2. Create a DCIM folder on the SDcard

3. Copy the videos into the DCIM Folder

4. Import them using the camera connection kit.

I havn't done this myself yet but i've read it several times that it works this way.
The videos are stored in the camera roll on your iPad once imported.
