I- Phone 4 books to iPad3

Some, but not all of my books transferred from my I Phone 4 to my new I pad 3. Can the rest of the books be transferred over? HOW SO?

If they were purchased in the iBooks Store, you can see and download them again by looking under the Purchased tab.

If you are getting the books elsewhere, or using a different app, I need more information.
