i Tune cards

Hello all. Quick question, even though I've owned an iPod touch for a few years I have never brought an iTunes card. My question is can they be used for the apps and/or games on the iPad? I noticed at the apple store the sell app cards but I have yet to see the in any store, only see iTunes cards. Thanks

They can be used interchangeably for everything they sell in the iTunes store -- apps, music, movies, audiobooks, books. The cards have different labels on them, but they all work the same.
