Ibooks problem

I seem to have lost all my books, pdfs, and slides(pdfs). These were collections. Only one collection remains. Didn't do anything I can remember that could have caused them to disappear. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you recently used iTunes on your PC to sync your PC and iPad?

Yes I have.

You might have marked te Sync on the iBook Page.
Never do that . With books you just copy them.

If you Synced, and your iTune library is empty - It cleans your iPad as well.
