I am a brand new user to iPad (and Apple products). I'm old guy, retired, so I don't know a lot of the newer tech language/concepts (e.g., I don't know what "jailbreak" is, etc.)
For several years I have been using a Palm Pilot and Palm One Desktop Software 4.1.4. As my Palm Pilot is dying a slow and painful death, I would like to get the calendar, contact, data, memo data from either the Palm Pilot or the PC and export it into iTunes or onto the iPad (whichever is correct). I want to use the iPad to replace the Palm Pilot (as well as the other great uses I'm finding for the iPad) as my personal organizer.
A. Can this be done?
B. If so, how do I go about doing it?
Remember, you're dealing with somebody who is not as tech-savvy as today's 9 year old!
