Insurance for iPads

Every iPad comes with a year warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary support.

If you buy the coverage when you first get the iPad (you have 30 days to decide to buy), you can get the Apple Care Plan. You get two years of the coverage and now, that coverage includes two incidents of accidental damage coverages (though those are subject to a $49 service fee). It's $99 (USD) from Apple.

When I got my first iPad, they didn't cover accidental damage, so I had it added to my home insurance. Of course, each one would be different, so I can't quote you any values on that.

Thank you. Our school is looking at purchasing iPads for the schools and we are exploring insurance policies that parents and or the district might be able to purchase to cover the loss or damage of an iPad.
