from searches on the iphone version it works as advertised, people have actually purchased this case and put their Iphone in the case and dumped it in water!

It's not bulky. Have Lifeproof for my wife and my iPhones. Love the case. They are planning an ipad case likely in the fall sometime.

I will get the IPad case because I want to use mine in the boat with my Navionics lake map app. I see it's still being developed though.
