Internet failed

I've had my iPad for two weeks, but suddenly there was no access to the internet or mail. Can anyone tell me what I should do? There must be a setting that I touched or something. The wifi signal comes in fine.

I'd assume you have restarted it?

Restarting a computer (to include phones, iPads, camera, etc...) is always the first thing to do when they flake out.
