Intro post - hello!

I feel like dummy for even having to admit this but I am trying to post a new thread as an introduction for myself as I am new here. I can open a new thread but for some reason I can't type in the message field. No matter what I do I can't get a cursor to show up in the typing area and I can't even get my keypad to pop up when I touch the typing area. I hope someone can give me some advice, if not, I guess there will be no intro from me...
