Introducing myself

I am "Hobbyfarmer" from northern Alberta. I purchased a pair of iphones for my wife and myself last week and purchased an iPad3 today for both of use. We use a PC at home running Microsoft Outlook for our respective businesses and plan on syncing the iPhones and iPad with Outlook. Most things have gone quite well but I seem to have a couple of annoying glitches syncing with iCloud. I previously used a Blackberry with my PC and never had any problems. I figure the forum is one of the easiest ways to get answers and learn a few things along the way before calling the apple support line. My plan is to search other threads to get some ideas on the different setup options before asking for advice.
