I bought a used iPad first generation on eBay, 6 years ago. It's been dropped on concrete, dropped in the bathtub twice, dropped countless times in he house, licked by dogs and horses, slept on, and run over by a pickup, and is still going strong!

I still have it, but am changing over to an iPad 4th generation because the apps keep updating and won't function on the 1st generation anymore.

I don't have a PC, or functioning laptop - just the iPads.

Welcome to the forum! LOL over that first paragraph - wife & I have dropped our iPads just once, so w/ the new one, be much more careful, i.e. you are unlikely to be that lucky again - Dave
