Invasive access while charging

when I get up in the morning, my iPad isn't fully charged and there are several apps including email open that I made sure we're closed. This morning, an email with pornographic language was initiated but not sent. What can I do?

Are you sure that nobody had physical access to your iPad between the time you plugged it into the charger and when you discovered the problem? There are no known viruses that can infect an iOS device and cause problems like yours. Have you checked your list of sent emails to make sure that this has never happened before?
