Invisible Video File

Video download from SD card to iPad 2 interrupted, file corrupted. Cannot find file to delete. Does not appear in Photos, or is not visible using Windows File Manager. Consumed 2.5G of space! Can anyone help?

Hi, welcome to iPF!

Corrupted files are in "Other", which you can see in iTunes on your computer. To get rid of it, you'll have to use software, such as Phone Clean, or erase all content and settings and restore your iPad. If you do the latter, you'll end up with the latest software, which is iOS 8. It was released two days ago.

Thanks for the information! I understand where the corrupted file is being held (among others!) 3.9 GB total in 'Other."

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the "Phone Clean" app you mentioned. I'd rather not wipe and restore the iPad if I can avoid it. Can you recommend another app that will give me visibility of the "Other" files. or perhaps tell me where to find Phone Clean?

Phone Clean isn't an app, but software for computers. If you search for "phone clean ipad", you should find it easily.
