It would be nice to find these at the top of this forum as a Sticky.

A nice clear post showing...

You need A, B, C, installed on an Intel Mac (ie.. MacBook Pro).
Download and install Xcode4 (current version)... etc..
Purchase an Apple Developer license if......

Coding your first app (Hello World).

Step 1
Step 2
etc...

I have zero experience in the Apple iOS realm, but have been a developer for a long while (Mainframe Cobol, Classic ASP, HTML, XML, blah blah) and trying to research reviews on beginning to code books/sites is time consuming.

Ok, enough. Hope somebody will post up a nice 101 (Complete Newb), 201+ type threads. Those are very helpful in getting up to speed for iOS development.

P.S. Anybody recommend a corporate level type training for iOS? Or best practices for development setup, infrastructure, and coding?

Thanks,
Larry
