IOS 7.0 update question

I am very new to this ipad stuff. I have an ipad 2 and here's my question: when I do the update, will it delete my folders and apps from my home screen? Also, what about my favorites in safari and chrome? If they could be deleted, is there a way to back them up? Thanks in advance!

I backed up mine on the iCloud but you can back up on iTunes too if you feel you must. My icons and folders were fine apart from moving to another page. All bookmarks etc... Are okay

When you update to IOS 7, everything will be kept the same; folders, bookmarks, apps, music, etc (unless the update goes wrong, which is very unlikely). To save anything in safari and chrome, you can back the data to iCloud in settings.
