iPad 1 deleting mail

I have an Ipad 1 and at present there are 3000 emails. I have deleted them all on my Asus computer. Is there a quick way to delete them on iPad, it takes hours doing it one by one.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

The quickest way I know is in landscape view, press Edit at the top of the column, the mail will shift to the right and you just go down the list tapping on each email, then press delete at the bottom of the column. Do you have another email app as the native mail app will not keep that many emails.

I know many people including me that would love to delete all emails with one click.
No way that I know of, only what leelai said.
