My iPad contacts keep disappearing. Very annoying! I can reload them when I sync with my computer but why does this happen and how can I prevent it. I do NOT use iCloud. This does not happen with my iPhone 4s (thank goodnessh!

Do you only store them on the iPad, or are they synced with an email account? If not, I would recommend syncing them with email. That should prevent them from disappearing.

Thanks! I store them on my iMac and then sync my iPad 1 and my iPhone 4s. This is a recent phenomena so I wonder if this stems from an upgrade that maybe the iPad 1 (which Apple no longer supports).
